We here at Rock n Fire are proud of our brand new, recently opened facility in Shoemakersville, Pa. The facility was designed to provide the optimum pitching experience for young, developing pitchers.  Unlike other, multi-purpose sports facilities, the Rock n Fire facility was designed exclusively for girl’s softball pitching. It was designed with the serious pitcher in mind.

• It provides each student and parent with a clean, comfortable, private, climate controlled setting, for the ultimate pitching experience.
• We offer a setting that promotes and enhances privacy and relaxation, which in turn, increases the student’s concentration level. This in turn produces a more relaxed pitcher, and promotes faster learning.
• The Rock n Fire facility contains a private, heated observation room for parents and prospective students. This allows the parent(s) to observe their child’s progress, while maintaining privacy for the student.
• The Rock n Fire facility uses up to date, state of the art pitching training equipment and techniques, to help maximize the student’s physical abilities.
• We have television and video at our disposal to help teach the student, with the help of visual aids.
• The Rock n Fire facility contains three, regulation length, pitching tunnels. Each tunnel is 43ft. in length. The plates can be set at distances ranging from 35 ft., up to 43ft. to accommodate every age group.
• Catching equipment is also provided at the end of each tunnel, for use during those times of the year when catchers are being utilized.

Rock n Fire offers free accommodations to those parents and students, who drive great distances to participate. We currently instruct girls who are diving from as far away as the Syracuse/Oswego N. Y. area. Those parents, in many cases choose to receive multiple sessions in a single weekend to decrease their travel expenses.

We here at Rock n Fire also promote, and help arrange car-pooling, for those driving from the same area. We offer an enormous amount of flexibility in scheduling, as well as on line scheduling, to help accommodate those who travel from out of the area.

The Rock n Fire facility is conveniently located near all of the major routes running through Berks County. We are located approximately 15 minutes south of Cabela’s, just off of Rte. 61 in Shoemakersville, Pa., and only 15 minutes north of Reading, Pa.

Rock n Fire can be reached from most major areas in under an hour. Routes 422, 222, 61, 183, 78/81 corridor, 73, 662 and the Pa. Turnpike (both the N.E. extention and the East/West corridor) all provide easy access to Rock n Fire.

Rock n Fire currently has girls participating in it’s program from all of the below listed areas, as well as Berks County.
